Warranty & Return Policy
This policy applies exclusively to rewards pledged through the official HISONG AirStudio S1 Kickstarter campaign.
1. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Before the Campaign Ends: You may cancel your pledge directly through Kickstarter before the campaign deadline to receive a full refund, in accordance with Kickstarter’s platform rules.
- After the Campaign Ends: Once the campaign has ended and Kickstarter has processed backer payments, all pledges are considered final. Refund requests after this time will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, depending on production and fulfillment progress. If production has begun, full refunds may not be possible.
2. Delivery Timeline
- Your reward will ship according to the Estimated Delivery Date listed on our Kickstarter campaign page.
- After the campaign closes and funds are received, we will proceed with:
- Finalizing production
- Quality control
- Packaging and preparation for shipment
- We will provide regular progress updates on our Kickstarter campaign page.
- Once your reward ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.
Note: International shipping times may vary due to customs clearance and local logistics conditions.
3. Warranty Coverage
Your HISONG AirStudio S1 reward is covered by a 12-month limited warranty starting from the date it is first delivered to the original backer. This warranty is non-transferable.
If your product is found to be defective due to improper materials or workmanship within the warranty period, HISONG will repair or replace the product or its defective parts at no charge for labor or parts.

4. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Lost or stolen items
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, liquid exposure, extreme temperatures, or operating errors
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality
- Damage caused by external events (fire, flood, lightning, etc.)
- Consumable items subject to wear (e.g., cables, protective cases)
- Items shipped outside the original country of delivery without prior authorization
5. International Warranty
We provide limited international warranty service for Kickstarter backers:
- For quality-related claims, HISONG will cover the cost of shipping replacement parts to your country.
- Kickstarter rewards are not eligible for returns due to non-quality-related reasons.
6. Filing a Warranty Claim
Contact us at support@hisong.io or via our official Discord server (#customer-support channel) and provide:
- Your Kickstarter backer number or reward order details
- Proof of delivery date
- Product serial number
- Description of the issue with photo/video evidence
We may request troubleshooting steps before approving a repair or replacement. In some cases, you may be asked to return the defective unit for inspection.
Note: You will receive a reply within 48 hours (business days) after contacting us via email or the #customer-support channel.
7. Returns & Exchanges
Because Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform and not a traditional retail store:
- Returns or exchanges are only accepted if the product arrives defective or damaged in transit.
- Returned products must be in their original packaging with all included accessories.
- If HISONG confirms a quality issue, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label (for supported regions) or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon receipt of the product and proof of shipping.
8. Returns Will Not Be Accepted If:
- The product was damaged after delivery due to misuse or accidents
- The product is missing original packaging or accessories
- No valid proof of purchase/delivery is provided
- The reported defect cannot be confirmed through inspection
- The return is made without prior authorization
9. Limitation of Liability
- HISONG is not responsible for any data loss resulting from product use.
- HISONG is not responsible for personal or non-HISONG items sent to us.
- For non-quality-related returns (if accepted under exceptional circumstances), HISONG is not liable for loss or damage during return shipping.
10. Kickstarter-Specific Notes
- Your pledge is a commitment to support the creation of this product. Delivery dates are estimates, and delays may occur due to production or logistics challenges.
- All major updates, including manufacturing progress and shipping schedules, will be posted on the Kickstarter campaign page.
